Artist
Statement
"I find
myself compelled to create with bold color, form and composition. My
greatest joy is to see what is not there, developing character and
place, and a story within. As my paintings develop, I allow them to
"speak to me"; responding to them as composition and story unfold.
Entrenched in this beautiful and expressive dialogue; creative freedom
abounds."
Tranquility, laughter and introspection serve us well though life much
like they do in Sharolyn's art; bringing us an ever greater connection
to our sense of oneness, our faith in self and a universal oneness.
"I have
found a particular joy in paint which allows me to express my natural
sense of the whimsical and a sincere appreciation and thankfulness for
life"
